I once heard a testimony where the Holy Ghost was falling upon the people during worship. The preacher, R.W. Schambach, testified how the piano player got so filled with the Spirit that she fell off of the piano bench and the piano kept right on playing. No other explanation could be found except, "Jesus knows how to play a piano!" I believe we are entering into a time and place of worship and praise where we will experience some unusual anointings upon musical instruments that will be played, at times, with heavenly fingers - either through His people, and sometimes without them.
"And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers."(Mal. 4:6, KJV) Recently, the Lord has been working overtime in many family relationships, especially between the parents and the children. Speaking as a father, looking back, I can become overwhelmed by how I was honestly blinded by my weaknesses, or how I felt powerless to change my children while I was raising them. When you hear about how God is going to grow us up in His body, you can count on God showing up in the core of the church - the family we live with every day. We can go no further in God than our personal "home address."
Recently, as I was waking up, a dream slipped into the bedroom and curiously awakened me. In this dream, I was standing in a bathroom with several inches of water. As I looked down, I was barefoot. I then woke up wondering what that was about. I wanted to call someone for an interpretation, but it was too early. A little later, brushing my teeth, the interpretation came. The bathroom prophetically represents a place of cleansing; my bare feet gave away the interpretation
"If your heart is broken, you'll find God right there; if you're kicked in the gut, he'll help you catch your breath" (Ps. 34:18, MSG). Broken: having been fractured or damaged and no longer in one piece or in working order, (of a person) having given up all hope; despairing. It seems no matter who we are and how much we love Jesus, there remains a broken area in our lives that God is still working on. I said to my wife recently, "Do you know anyone in the body of Christ, including us, who's not broken in some area of their lives? Do you know anyone who is normal?" She said, "Bill, normal is the setting on the dryer downstairs."
"To whom He presented Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, appearing to them for forty days, and speaking concerning the kingdom of God" (Acts 1:3). For several days, I kept hearing the Lord say, "I've got something up My sleeve." I said, "Lord, what is it?" He said, "Only those who are close enough to Me, leaning against My breast, hearing My heartbeat and leaning on My everlasting arms, will see what it is. My people have heard from CNN, Fox News, NBC, MSNBC, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. It is high time they hear from Me."
While on vacation, I was privileged to hear an astronaut share his experiences living on a space station and walking in outer space. He shared that all the training he went through for the launching of the spacecraft was nothing like the real thing when the launch pad button was pushed. He said, "The shaking was far more than what I had trained for." As the spacecraft climbed higher, there were stages when parts of it were discharged, accompanied by an explosion that would thrust them higher. Finally, they landed on the space station where they would live for several months. From his new home, he would often "space walk" to work on the outside of the station. The only thing that connected him to the space station was a long rope called a tether. While looking down upon the earth, he said there were moments when he wondered, "Did I attach that tether right to my waist? Did I really connect that thing right? If I didn't and it would come loose, I would drift off into oblivion."
"'Don't be afraid,' he said, 'for you are very precious to God. Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!' As he spoke these words to me, I suddenly felt stronger and said to him, 'Please speak to me, my lord, for you have strengthened me'" (Daniel10:19). The first time God spoke to me personally, I didn't know it was Him. I thought it was my mother. When I was 5 years old, she would tell everybody, "This is my little preacher!" It embarrassed me at the time. But looking back, it was God speaking through her. After 40 years in ministry, I am still preaching. It's humbling, but the Lord will often speak to us through the least likely people as part of our training before we can hear His voice for ourselves. The Lord uses unique vessels. Like iron that sharpens iron, they often are the keys that unlock our spiritual ears.
We called him Uncle Willie. A little old man who sat near the front of the church so he could hear the worship and the message. At times, the Spirit of the Lord would come upon Uncle Willie, causing his frail body to shake and his eyes to weep. Uncle Willie's glass eye intrigued everyone. I'm convinced some came to church just to see it. When He began to shake and weep, his glass eye would often pop out, and if you watched closely, you could see him catching it in his hands. He would then tilt his head back as though nothing unusual had happened and roll the glass eye back into place.

I sense the Lord saying, "The older stars in My kingdom are going to shine brighter and do greater exploits than ever before!" I sense there is a special anointing coming upon older men and women in the body of Christ. God is not through using you. Your age is not against you, it is for you. Job 12:12 says, "Wisdom is with the elderly, and understanding comes with long life." You have more wisdom now than ever. With years comes understanding. This anointing is going to cause you to live longer. Many of you have not planned to live long enough. It will be an anointing similar to Caleb when he reached 85 years. He said to the Lord, "I am as strong now as when I was 40, and I want to take another mountain!"
