We must see men as God does.
The Prophet Isaiah, as he prophesied the then future (2600 +/- years) advent of Jesus the Messiah, declares a profound life giving truth.
God's desire in Christ is that all men be as trees of righteousness. Trees, which consistently are bringing glory to God are totally testifying that, symbolically as trees, all men are fruit producing plantings of the Lord.
King David wrote in Psalm 1 that we are like trees. Those who walk in the counsel of the godly…
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season. And its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:3 NASU
Prophet Isaiah Decrees Twice
This truth concerning men as trees is found at least twice in the writings of the Prophet Isaiah:
"Then (when Messiah comes) all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, (my people are) the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified. Isaiah 60:21 NASU
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So (in order that) they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Isaiah 61:1-3 NASU
Jesus the Anointed Fulfills Messianic Prophecy
Hundreds of years after Isaiah penned the above scripture concerning Jesus the Messiah, behold the Messiah himself appears in the synagogue and reads from what is now known as the book of the prophet Isaiah, chapter 61. (See Luke 4:16-22)
Jesus told all at that time that Isaiah 61 was being fulfilled.
Jesus that day began his earthly ministry. As Isaiah declared all men are called oaks or trees of righteousness, a planting of the Lord so that our Lord would be glorified.
Seeing all men as trees of righteousness is a righteous judgment and brings forth life.
God spoke to me, "See all of humanity as trees of righteousness, a planting of Me and I will be glorified." All that Jesus our Messiah was given by our Father was for the purpose of making men trees of righteousness; bringing glory to God as plantings of the Lord come forth in the kingdom of God.
Blind Man Sees Men as Trees and is thereby Empowered to see Everything Clearly
This blind man was a Jew of the lost tribe of Israel. This man therefore was familiar with the writings of Isaiah the prophet. No doubt he had read or heard about the coming Messiah who would rise up men in the similitude of trees; fruit producing trees and obvious plantings of our Lord bringing great glory to God.
The Apostle Mark scribed the following miracle:
And they came to Bethsaida. And they brought a blind man to Jesus and implored Him to touch him. Taking the blind man by the hand, He brought him out of the village; and after spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, "Do you see anything?" And he looked up and said, "I see men, for I see them like trees, walking around." (Isaiah 61:3)
Then again He laid His hands on his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and began to SEE EVERYTHING CLEARLY. And He sent him to his home, saying, "Do not even enter the village." Mark 8:22-26 NASU
As I encounter people I attempt to say and see each person as a tree of righteousness, a planting of the Lord. This is how God sees every human being.
The potential for righteous life is within everyone. If I righteously judge as God judges then I reap a judgment of righteousness, which is life. Seeing someone other than the way God sees them is a path of death.
This blind man had both his physical eyes and his spiritual eyes opened. When he saw men as trees plantings of the Lord EVERYTHING BECAME CLEAR!
