Looking within causes us not to look to ourselves, but to the Lord. We're reading the tablet He's writing upon. His Spirit enlightens us and announces those things He's speaking to us. Clarity often comes as we become quiet without distractions taking the time to listen and focus on what we hear and see.
Once we know what He is saying, the next step is to find out what is first and how to go about it. The importance here is to not go about doing it the way we know how, but to find out how to do it now. Even if you may know how to do it, it may not be the current manner in which the Lord wants it done. Stay current and keep updated. That is partnering with the Lord who is giving the direction.
A Different Perspective
Sometimes we need help to see what we don't see about ourselves. Its good to have another person's perspective shared so we hear the value of what we carry in our lives. What we take for granted, others see as awesome. Especially after a long time of processing, it helps tremendously. It's a refreshing of heart and soul that allows us to settle where we've been bringing closure to the last season to go into the next.
Mentoring provides varied degrees of investment. From reading another's writing, listening to their recordings and to speaking to them directly. Whether on the phone, online or face-to-face, there will be impartations. We never get where we're headed alone. The need for others' investment and insight is vital.
There is tremendous value in allowing another to guide you with their insight. It opens your eyes to see what is obscure allowing it to become suddenly obvious. Whether it's months, weeks or days you need to see those things integral to you. At times it takes seeing through another's experience and perception to gain that insight into you, your identity, your purpose and your assignment.
"The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out." Proverbs 20:5
Here's what we're offering to mentor many. It's been part of my vision for a number of years to have a regional training school in Huntsville, Alabama. Tonight it begins. Our first public meeting is a free local event called Kingdom Conversations. Its purpose is to provide a forum for connection and discussion regarding topics relating to what God is saying and doing and how we should respond.
Hearing the Voice of God
Everyone needs to hear the voice of God. There are those who have heard and responded and those who haven't heard or responded yet. We will offer this forum regularly. It's my desire to connect and assist all those who desire to grow in their journey with Christ.
Following this meeting, I'm busy writing, scheduling and putting training sessions into place for my School of Personal Spiritual Development. Initial courses will include Authentic Christianity & Kingdom Culture & Lifestyle. The short–term goal is to broadcast these online using webinars while teaching live at our training room. Everything in this school will also be offered on our website. There is much to do in a short period of time and much to learn technologically. But I'm up for the task at hand! It's my top priority! I'll be announcing dates soon!

A lot of us are in process right now. Don't get in a hurry. The world is not coming to an end. Things may be changing, but it's not doomsday. It's time to awaken the ekklesia. I get wearied when hearing modern "Christian" lingo as we face unfamiliar happenings in the world. There is a defeated, helpless mentality that echoes what has been said repetitively causing inaction for way too many years. Then those things get thrown into helpless, hopeless buckets. There are many. The one I'm thinking about at this moment is the, "It's the End-Times, You Know" bucket. I'm sorry dear soul. It's not. Nor is it time to escape. It's not time to endlessly stream on-demand zombie apocalypse movies.

I believe that the condition of the Church is the genuine concern during this global crisis. The location of where we meet corporately is really up for the Lord to direct. We can move a meeting around from one location to another but if the condition doesn't change, it's all the same. So what is the Lord wanting? Is He wanting to take us out of buildings? I hardly think that is the case. In some instances it may happen and may be necessary. Although, I think we need to not look at the circumstantial effects as the purpose. Rather, we need to look at what the Lord is saying in all of this.

You may have heard it said that there is too much of an emphasis on "consciousness" within the Body of Christ at the present. The thought I've seen being expressed is that there were things being misconstrued and it was becoming self–focused and idolatrous self-exaltation. In some cases, I'm sure that is true. Where there is truth being emphasized, error will always try to creep in to skew it. Although, anytime there is an emphasis in a certain area where long tenured beliefs are being challenged or enhanced, we must look to see where our Lord is in it. We cannot fear the things God speaks because of the language being used and yet follow Him in the forefront of what He is establishing. Realignment often comes being imposed and yet pondered.
