God is for You by Kathy DeGraw

By Kathy DeGraw
I've repeatedly been hearing in the Spirit this week that "God is for you." In my quiet time, as I'm preaching and during worship, the Spirit of the Lord keeps speaking, "God is for you." This is a now word for the body of Christ. God wants you to know He is for you. God is for you despite your circumstances, your sin, your abuse, what you are going through or how you are feeling. You are made in the image of God (James 3:9). Being made in the image of God means perfect, complete and whole.

I've repeatedly been hearing in the Spirit this week that "God is for you." In my quiet time, as I'm preaching and during worship, the Spirit of the Lord keeps speaking, "God is for you."

This is a now word for the body of Christ. God wants you to know He is for you. God is for you despite your circumstances, your sin, your abuse, what you are going through or how you are feeling.

You are made in the image of God (James 3:9). Being made in the image of God means perfect, complete and whole. Now I know some of you are thinking, "But I am not perfect, complete and whole," and although we may not be in the natural, as we are still a work in progress, we are made perfect, complete and whole in His image.

There is no sin He cannot forgive. We no longer need to hold onto shame, blame, guilt, condemnation and regret. We are made perfect and complete in Him and through Him. He wants you to know He is for you! Are you for you? Often our greatest enemy is ourselves.

We can obtain a mind renewal and gain faith by speaking out, "God is for me!" Sometimes, we need to be our own cheerleaders and speak out positive proclamations over ourselves. God is for you. He is not against you (Rom. 8:31). He is not mad at you. He loves you!

The Bible says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). I believe we can gain faith by speaking out and declaring, "God is for me!" I remember years ago, I was coming to the realization that God loved me. I remember the song "I know I'm loved" playing. I was worshiping in my living room, and I belted out, "I know I'm loved," and the next line is, "I know I'm wanted." There was so much freedom released that day as I declared out, "I know I'm loved. I know I'm wanted."

As I've been hearing in the spiritual realm for several days now that God is for you, I know you too can have that same freedom when you repeatedly declare, believe and receive, "God is for me!"

God is for you! Grab hold of that reality and allow it to sink deep within your soul and receive the freedom He longs for you to have.
