"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go " - Dr. Seuss. Decisions are the revolving door that creates everything that follows. The route you choose will determines everything that follows. Decisions could take you down an incredible pathway to success, or determine even who your grandchildren will marry, or decide the health of your body and mind. Everything in your life is dependent upon the choices you make, that's the way God made it. Yes, choose life and not death! (Deut. 30:19).

Think About It…
Decisions could take you down an incredible pathway to success, or determine even who your grandchildren will marry, or decide the health of your body and mind. Everything in your life is dependent upon the choices you make, that's the way God made it. Yes, choose life and not death! (Deut. 30:19).
Probably nobody taught you how to make decisions while growing up. Me either!
Corporate training fails to train decision making, and ministry colleges usually pass it by, and so most of you often feel like you're a victim of your circumstances!
In our day, we hear a lot about the "right to choose" but this right must be balanced with the resulting consequences.
Making Choices
Every day, you choose what to eat, how to use your time, if you exercise, what you buy, who you talk to, etc. People get sick because of wrong decisions; sick in their spirit, mind, and/or body.
People choose to respond to situations. They choose to react, get mad, be happy, and forgive.
I can't even count the times that I've gone on a diet, "I'm going to lose 20 pounds by Christmas." But, somehow I justify rewarding myself with the exact food that contradicts that statement. "I'll lose it by my Birthday!" I exclaim, thinking that somehow it will work out.
But the problem is no DECISION was really ever made. That was just a want. A wish. But not a determination.
How DO WE SUCCEED IN A DECISION? By not deviating. By being decisive.
Can you say this out loud with me? " Most of my life is the direct result of my decisions ."

You have the mind of Christ... what does that mean? If we open up to possessing the womb of His mind, then His thoughts can produce a baby. Let the man-child emerge. This mind is: beyond intelligence, beyond learning, beyond understanding. Here are some ideas on what that means:

There seems to be a lot more detachment these days. Too many sad stories°to much stress. Perhaps what we need now more than ever is to be more understanding, compassionate, and kind? There is an old saying called, "give yourself some slack." The idea of Giving Yourself Some Slack means that you start with yourself! The phrase is a sailing term from late 1700s that originally meant to loosen or give slack on a sail or rope. SLACK means to ease pressure upon situations and stop forcing a desired result.

Many actually see nothing wrong with how things have been going on. This confuses me. The Church is divided in many ways. It is fractured by personal opinions. With few exceptions, leaders know the church is declining, but they don't want to change their old mindset to find greater truth that would stop the decline. One major problem is the lack of believing Present Truth, the lack of teaching Truth, and the lack of searching for Truth. The question is, would you change your belief system in exchange for Greater Truth? Jesus became weary. He had been looking for her. He walked all the way to Samaria – because of TRUTH.
