F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N.

Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to Maturity {perfection}...Hebrews 6:1Upon notice of the great foundational text in Hebrews 6:1-2, we often allude to there being six foundational teachings of discovery. If we can receive this, there is seven, yes seven, in that the going on unto PERFECTION and Maturity is # 7, and Jesus is that foundation and basis for our Maturity, full stature, and completeness...{Proverbs 4:7}
When viewing the tallest of skyscrapers in some of the largest cities of the world one might simply ask, "How deep and secure should the foundation of such far-reaching skyscraper be in order for this towering structure to maintain its steadfast existence?"
That is the question I pose today, upon knowledge of the sincere truth that many of us are without a solid and strong foundation, a bedrock or basis for everyday kingdom living. And equally alarming is, that a massive number of us do not esteem as core values the chiefly important significance of a strong solid foundation for maximized kingdom living...
Every saint needs a foundation for their understanding, something consistent and of concrete character. Without a foundation we lose basis for solid support and lack structural integrity. Ask any architect, builder, carpenter, or developer, and they will point you and me to the necessity of having the blueprint {the plan, recipe, or strategy}, and the implementation to carry out that master plan...
According to scripture, F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. is not an option, it is rather, a requirement, and reveals in part and parcel what we are built upon. In general terms we hear the chorus and echoing words "On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand!" And for many of us that is as far as it goes, just the reference of a beautiful medley, hymnal, and for others, a catchy phrase...
Foundation is important to all that we are, and all that we do. No marriage can be successful without a solid foundation. Our financial economy cannot be effectual without a foundation that includes proper communication with one another. For we can have money, but not the right mind to steward it. We can have an abundance of kingdom resources, and lack the apostolic strategies to execute the wealth of the Lord in all of the right places. Thus, we need a solid foundation, and to connect with those who will speak into our structural integrity...becoming a people built to last...
Let us share for a few moments some principles on "F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N."
According to Ezra 3:10-13...
When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments, and with trumpets, and the Levites {the sons of Asaph} with cymbals, took their places to praise the Lord, as prescribed by King David of Israel. With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord. And all of the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. of the house of the Lord was laid. But many of the older priests and Levites and family heads, who had seen the former temple, wept aloud when they saw the foundation of the temple being laid, while many others shouted for joy. No one could distinguish the sound of the shouts of joy {The Way it now IS} from the sound of weeping {The Way it once WAS}, because the people made so much noise. And the sound was heard far away...{Ezra 3:10-13} {NIV}
Other scriptures come to mind when relating to F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N.
So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: See, I lay a stone in Zion, a TESTED stone, a PRECIOUS cornerstone for a SURE F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. the one who trusts {Trust is a foundation to a relation} will never be dismayed. Isaiah 28:16
The reason why it is founded to be precious and sure, is that it had been tested or tried. As any foundation is to be expected....
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. of many GENERATIONS {Generational Blessings}; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. Isaiah 58:12 {KJV}
Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the ROCK {Petra}...Matthew 7:24
The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. Matthew 21:42
Built on the FOUNDATION of Apostles and Prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In HIM the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple {Naos} in the Lord. And in HIM you too are being built together to BECOME {the becoming dimension} a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit. Ephesians 2:20-22
In this way they will lay up treasures for themselves {remember Paul's' Apostolic Prayer and Blessing in Philippians 4:17-19} as a FIRM F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. for the coming age {Hebrews 6:5}, so that they may take hold of the LIFE that is truly LIFE. 1 Timothy 6:19
Nevertheless, God's solid F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. stands FIRM, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are HIS, and Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness. 2 Timothy 2:19
With the above scriptural references to begin with, let us now look at the word FOUNDATION from an acronym we recently shared with a prophetic group of saints in the greater Houston area.
F - The FATHERING Dimension: {Quickening Spirit of the Fatherhood of God, the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the appointed walk with the Lord's choosing}. A foundation of true Fathers who begets generations, and the generations becoming quickening truth to the generations to follow. Love, Leadership, Legacy, and Lineage...
An interesting look would be to read the epistles of 1 John 2 concerning that which denies the Father and the son, or, the principle of the Father-Son order, the order of God in Father and Son...According to John, that which denies the Father and the son is not of HIS body.
In practical or relational terms, when any system or order despises the breadth, width, depth, and height of father -son {whether God the Father and His son Christ, the home, or spiritual ministry}, the pattern of the kingdom of which God himself established in the heavens and the earth, then that system is anti-body, anti-christ...
Creation hinges upon the order of father and son. God in Fatherhood is revealed in God in manhood, in mission, message, and ministry. Father - son spiritual order is not to become a casual discussion, or something of mere convenience. But the Fathering Dimension is God's will and intended purpose to quicken and to embody HIS people into the present truth that we are all SONS of God, and through the agency of appointed spiritual fathers in the earth to raise up mature sons pointing them right back to the image of God in creation...{Genesis 1:26-28}
In the early Hebraic foundation, the one means of which one was to learn of HIS kingdom, and the revelation of HIS will was through spiritual fathers, patriarchs, progenitors, seasoned fatherly leaders and parents to instill into the sons unto the next generation {or gene}, a good man leaving an inheritance for his children's children...Proverbs 13:22
Remember, O Lord, what has happened to us; look, and see our disgrace. Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens, our homes to foreigners. We have become orphans and fatherless...Lamentations 5:1-3...
If you are not disciplined {and everyone undergoes discipline}, then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Hebrews 12:8
Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. 1 Corinthians 4:15
When the Lord made covenant with His people of old, it was through their covenant fathers, their fathers in the faith, and not generally to the masses. Although we have a better covenant today with better promises, the principle of covenant fathers is no less important. God then, as do now, speaks to regions, vicinities, and localities unto true spiritual fathers for those regions which transfer the dynamics and dimensions of corporate kingdom community unto the saints. And it is time that the saints connect to the fathers of those regions and to embrace what the Lord has purposed and promised for those said regions through the raising up of true spiritual fathers...
There is prosperity in the blessing of obedience, when we Hear and do what Papa God is saying, and connect with HIS seasoned and appointed fathers unto the next generation...
All over the nations, there are spiritual fathers and progenitors arising to help to stabilize the next generation and to lead it into a rewarding destiny. God's eternal purposes are always integrated in the fathering dimension, whether the fatherhood of God, biological fathers, fathers of the faith and of the gospel, and spiritual and ministry fathers through spiritual and ministry sons...
No resounding and resonating present day truth shall be made alive in the corporate glory of the saints without the passing down of foundations of true spiritual and ministry fathers, appointed of the Lord unto HIS appointed peoples...
Show me matured and manifested sons, and I will show you one who has embraced fully their appointed fathers without prejudice, and without disdain, as the sufferings of the fathers become the suffering of the sons, and the glory of the fathers becomes the glory of the sons.
Show me a son who honors his father in their absence, and I will show you a father who has been double-portioned into the son...
2 Kings 2
You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust {commit, deposit} to reliable {faithful} men who will also be qualified to teach others. 2 Timothy 2:1-2
O - Oracles of God: According to 1 Peter 1:11, "If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God..." The messages which we speak are to be infused with Wisdom and Revelation in the Intimate Knowledge of HIM... Ephesians 1:17-18...It is more than a message to fill the pews of assemblies, and a word to keep the saints happy once a week. But the message is to become divine moments, producing divine momentum, and leading to a most momentous day we are living in.
Messages of the present hour are becoming...
a - Revelational: {The very first Scripture of Revelation 1:1, The Revelation of Jesus Christ, the revealing, disclosing, and manifestation thereof...}
b - Revolutional: A sudden and momentous change in a situation, AND...{Spiritually}...The increase of HIS government and peace...
c - Relevant: Having a bearing on or connection with the matter at hand. It it not to suggest that we keep up with the world, but that we relate to the world we live in with present truth applicable in all spheres, phases, and stages of LIFE...
d - Relative: [adjective, 'Pertinent, dependent and connected to something else...} There is a bigger picture here and at hand than the painting itself...
e - Relational: Indicating or constituting relation. In conjunction, i relation to...The kingdom at work in all places, faces, races, and graces...
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with demonstration of the Spirit's power. So that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
U - Unction and Understanding: 1 John 2:20, 27...But you have an anointing {unction to function} from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. As for you, the anointing {or unction} you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach. But as HIS anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real - not counterfeit, just as it has taught you, remain in HIM.
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7
We combine the terms Unction and Understanding as both agree on ONE, as the unction is from the HOLY ONE. Therefore, a true foundation will ascribe worth to the anointing of the Holy Spirit in the process of foundation. With the unction comes understanding, and understanding by the unction. In the present reformation of the church.
Unction produces a function, and that function is with focus. There is no room for vague generalities, as we need specificity in what God has called us into, and understanding to walk out the counsel of the Lord therein.
A sure foundation settled and secure on the person of Christ contains with the core mechanisms and dynamics of foundation the importance of unction or anointing, and places a premium on a strong foundation. In a time when many would prefer a FUN-dation {thrills, frills, chills, and spills and a roller coaster ride of religious emotionalism}, the Holy Spirit through the Word reverberates throughout our entire being that the Foundation of God stands sure...and as sound-waves these words echo throughout our entire lives...
N - NOW Word: The Foundation of God which stands sure is divinely saturated and deeply rooted with the importance and discovery for the saints to LIVE in the NOW of what God is saying, and doing...It's HIS foundation...What may have become a Rhema for the march around Jericho then, may become a religious form for others today if we are not abounding and moving in the forceful momentum of a NOW WORD of the Lord. This is the reason why we have messages which becomes a MOVEMENT, and for some only to become a MONUMENT. For a Movement is where God IS, and a Monument is where God WAS!
Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. 1 John 2:7-8
What the Spirit is revealing here is that the things we receive of the Lord are both old and new, the newness being that God is removing the darkness for the light of the Word to shine. When darkness passes, and true light shines, then we are receiving something new about what HE has already said.
This is important as we are not to become familiar with the word, producing familiarity and breeding contempt. Faith comes not by having heard, but by hearing, continual hearing and being open for more of what the presence of the Lord would have us to receive.
The command {or commandment} of 1 John 2:7-8 is both old and new, it is what God has said, and what he is saying NOW concerning what He has already said and spoken. Thank God for a NOW word from the Lord...
D - Demonstration and DOMINION: A strong foundation contains the principles of the saints Walking Out foundational dimensions, a real walk, a genuine lifestyle, living the LIFE in shoe leather, IN-CARNATE {Living Incarnationally, the WORD made flesh tabernacling among us}, right here in the NOW...
In our Global Schools of Ministry and Global Leadership Institute, you often hear rehearsed in the hearing of the saints that "Doctrine, revelation, impartation, teaching, and training is best understood when LIVED!" It's a Living Dimension, a Living Word, as we are epistles and not alone apostles {grin}...
The word "Doctrine," is a good word, although it carries negative implications depending on the context of its usage. Some people frown at the word "Doctrine" as they do the word "Disciple," and would closely associate this with spiritual and emotional abuse, control, and other manipulative schemes. True, there has been abuses through the misuse and mis-application of these foundational terms, but all money is not phony. We must trust the Holy Spirit in what He has for us, and not get caught up in appearances due to a significant lack of role models and right relationships.
In John 7:16-18...My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent {apostello} me. If any one chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself. but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him
As saints move from Doctrine, to Demonstration, to Destiny, we discover marvelous truth that Dominion {Mandate} of Genesis 1:26, 28 is the influence of the King and His kingdom to walk out His divine intentions in the earth with a view of the kingdom in changing our world through dominion. Dominion here is the 5-fold charge given to Adam to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it, and to have DOMINION in the commissioning of the Lord to rule and reign through our given sphere and measure of rule...2 Corinthians 10:12-18
We are not here to just become born again and to await heaven, but to rule in earth as HE is in Heaven. The corporate Christ, the many-membered SON, is to reveal HIM, as Jesus never came to talk about the Father, but to REVEAL HIM. The Holy Spirit has not come to talk about Christ, but to reveal HIM. And, the Church, the saints, and king-priest ministry is not here to talk about the Godhead, but to reveal HIM in the earth. It is in knowing HIM, and making HIM known...
A - Activation: Activation is that which sets into motion, make active or more active, to organize or to create, and in Chemistry terms, to accelerate a reaction in, as by heat. We are being activated to the Activator, the Person of the Lord and His manifest presence...
The Book of Acts is the Book of Activation, Active Rhythm of the Spirit, Thus, the Book of the Acts of the Holy Spirit, as the Person of the Holy Spirit and His operation is preeminent throughout.
When the Lord, through His divine channels and agencies of expression minister in activation to the saints, the power of God therein can range from waking up sleepy heads who are tired and fatigued, worn out and weary, to the raising the dead to fulfill the mandated mission through mandated authority of His said, sent, and set ministries.
Activation is an important foundational principle. When there is a strong apostolic - kingdom foundation laid, it requires activation of the truths that were are built on. As any car needs a tune-up, oil change, or a jump start on a cold winter day, so the saints are encouraged to be in the place of the Lord's choosing to receive and release the streams of His presence.
In 1 Corinthians 1:5 {KJV} it says that...ye are enriched in all utterance {imagine also, prophetic utterance} and {spiritual} knowledge...Verse 7...that you come behind in no gift {NIV..you do not lack any spiritual gift...}
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame {stir up} the gift of God, which is in you by the laying on of my hands...2 Timothy 1:6
In the early foundation of the church, activation was a prime part of the saints, conferral, stirring up of gifts, or fanning the flames of HIS fire within the saints. This restored pattern is taking precedence in the assemblies world over, as some things can come not alone by gifted preaching, but through prophetic activation.
it is high time to fully embrace the prophets and apostles in the church, and to make room for more than what we are commonly use to, as the Lord wants to move within his peoples through activation of the Spirit in the gifts, operations, and power of God. What is a foundation without the presence of the Holy Spirit to lead you into greener pastures? What is a foundation if we are stuck with head knowledge? And what is a foundation if we are not built up into the measure, stature, and fullness of Christ?
T - Training: Training for Reigning, Schooling for Ruling, and Retooling...Training involves discipleship, discipline, or {A} Desire, {B} Discipline, and {C} Delight. According to Genesis 14:14, Abram trained 318 men born in his household, trained to engage the opposition of the enemy.
One key is, they were BORN in Abram {Abraham's} house, which I call the Born Identity. They were never on record for scratching to get their big break into the ministry, nor found kicking and screaming for not being in the limelight. They were train to reign!!! They valued the buffeting process, they valued the discipline needed for a winning walk, and a winning battle.
Can this be said of any of us today?
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
Under Gamaliel I was thoroughly trained...Acts 22:3
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do so to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 1 Corinthians 9:25
All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and TRAINING in righteousness. So that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Titus 2:4-5
Along with great teaching, we need great training. Training requires relationship, hands on, apprenticeship, tutelage, mentoring, fathering, and coaching.It is one thing to teach someone something, but to TRAIN them is to take others into another level and expectation.
Training time, for reigning time...Young King David was anointed in his adolescence, but he had to ascend the throne in mature and responsible leadership. One can receive an anointing in an instance, but it takes years to develop fruit...
I - Impartation: Impartation is to give, convey, or grant from, to communicate the knowledge of, and here we are referencing spiritual knowledge, and the means and methodologies of the Spirit to convey HIS divine intentions in the saints. Impartation is foundational ministry, from ancient times to now, and in Romans 1:11...
I long to see you so that I can IMPART to you some spiritual gift to make you strong {to be established}...
Also, along with Activation...1 Timothy 4:14...reads...Do not neglect the your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message {prophecy}, when the elders of the body {presbytery} laid their hands on you...
Here, you have the presbytery, the prophetic word and message, and the laying on of hands...
This is what Theresa and me have desired many years for Houston, TX, a corporate day and glory for 3 full days where thousands of saints world over would come to worship HIM the one whole day, the next day all-day ministry of the word, and the 3rd day prophetic activation and apostolic impartation ministered through seasoned elders, apostles, and prophets, and with thousands of saints from all over being imparted and activated, mantled and re-mantled, stirred, conferred, quickened, and made alive to a new dimension of HIS glory.
O - Operations of the Spirit and Divine ORDER: With a strong foundation comes the revelation of HIS operations, and His divine order for the church. It is of necessity for the saints to embrace the operation and moves of God, and to also see that divine order is not alone HIS increase and government in the church, the home, and the earth, but in what GOD is doing NOW, and we moving with the cloud of HIS manifest presence.
According to 1 Corinthians 12:6, There is different workings and operations, but the same God working all of them together...
Different gifts, services {administrations} and operations, the Lord uses them all unto the edifying of HIS body, and as the saints shift from church to kingdom.
In the present truth dimension of the kingdom, body ministry and body life is far greater in scope than one message being preached and to end the service at that. In the current frequencies of the Spirit, and the upward spiral into new frontiers {or front ears}, the ministry of the saints is becoming a movement and dimensional shifting unlike recent history.
More and more God is defining and designing through His refining {fire} men and women abroad, who will have the heart of the Father to equip the saints as in Ephesians 4:11-13, all the way into verse 16, where the whole body fitly framed together becomes a joint of supply one to another, making increase unto the edifying of itself in love...
A strong apostolic-prophetic-kingdom foundation is rooted first in the person of the Lord, and the birth of HIS desire to transfer the anointing, authority, and agenda of the Kingdom into the saints, as the scripture says that the saints posses the kingdom. Daniel 7...
All that we do is what we see HIM doing. Jesus only did what HIS Father was doing, and we only do those things which pleases the Father. Therefore, we must define HIS design, and let the Lord in us REFINE, All true foundations will speak into the corporate dimension of the Spirit for us to move when HE says move, and to remain when He says to remain. And we are speaking here of the corporate anointing, the corporate glory and beauty of the saints...
When King David decided to return to the order of God, they had the ark of HIS presence to rest in Obed-Edom's house, and his house was especially blessed for three months. The one reason why David had to come to a decision, was that he realized that they had not sought the Lord after the due Order...1 Chronicles 13-15...
N - NEW MAN: One final important principle here is in discovering the NEW MAN in Christ, the At-One-Ment, being ALL-2-gether Lovely in HIM, for what is a foundation if we are not brought to life of the NEW MAN that we are in HIM, and HE is in us?
According to Ephesians 2:15...by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself ONE NEW MAN out of the two, thus making peace...
In Ephesians 4:24 we see the following...
...And to put on the NEW MAN, created to be like God...
In all of the principles today on F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. the letter end holds a special interest with me. It appears that many yet do not have a firm foundation and grasp as to what the New Man is, and thus, the struggle of duality, 2 natures, and walking in divisiveness towards the word of the Lord.
In 2 Corinthians 5:17, we are New Creations in HIM, but the consciousness of this work must not only lodge deeply within us, but radiate unto a living glory. One of the most important foundations of all saints is the ONENESS of God and MAN, I and My Father are ONE, or ONE-der-FULL {ness}...
There are only 2 persons on the face of the earth, Adam and Christ. Adam is the federal head of the human race, and Christ is the federal head of the New Creation man. In Adam all die, in Christ all are made ALIVE! The first Adam is a living soul, the Last Adam is a quickening Spirit. One is from below, the other from above. One is of the earth, the other the Lord from Heaven.
1 Corinthians 15th chapter...
The divinely instilled consciousness of Christ IN YOU, the hope or anticipation and expectation of Glory {Colossians 1:27 can further reveal that the life of the saints is more than just Christian events, but deep calling unto the deep, as Christ in veiled mystery must NOW become CHRIST revealed in us unto a broken humanity.
IN Romans 8:19-27, Manifested Sons are those are purposed and destined to witness creation set free from bondage, futility, captivity, and corruption. Manifested Sons do not exalt their own gate, but Manifested Sons reveal the Father's glory, and according to Isaiah 6, the whole earth is filled with HIS glory...
Manifested Sons, the Matured Seed Crop if you will, are renewed in the knowledge and image of their creator as confirmed in Colossians 3:10...
And have put on the New Man {New Self}, which is being renewed in {revelation} knowledge in the image of its creator. Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free, but CHRIST is ALL, and is IN ALL {Colossians 3:10}
The NEW MAN puts off the deeds of the flesh, as the flesh profits nothing.
The NEW MAN is walking out the IMAGE of God as originally stated in the DOMINION Mandate of Genesis 1:26, 28. For the precursor and prelude to Dominion is the IMAGE of God.
The ONE vital and kingdom key to having a strong foundation is in CHRIST Consciousness, or Conscience...The number one thing that must take place in the destiny of the nations begins first in our IMAGE-NATIONS, which we call POWER over the NATIONS...including
1 - Imaginations {nation of images}, image worship
2 - Procrastination {the image of the nation of lethargy, slothfulness}
3 - Alienation {the image of the nation of isolation}
4 - Discrimination {the image of the nation of prejudice}
5 - Denomination {the image of the nation religious preference or pride}
6 - Domination {the image of the nation of controlling and overpowering other people}
7 - Inclination {the image of the nation of "Have it your way," Burger King Mentality}
8 - Fascination {the image of the nation ruled by the soul realm - Genesis 3:1-6}
9 - Abomination {the image of the nation of loathsome things - Proverbs 6:16}
10 - Determination {in the negative sense, the image of the nation of self-will}
Beloved, Christ IN YOU becomes CHRIST Released through you. According to Hebrews 12, we receive a Kingdom which cannot be moved. If we can receive the kingdom, then we can also RELEASE the Kingdom. If we can receive prayer, we can RELEASE prayer. If we can receive HEALING, we then, can release Healing streams...
Have you received the Holy Spirit since you have believed? OR, Have you RELEASED the Holy Spirit since you have RECEIVED?
Beloved, we trust that this time has been an apostolic and kingdom blessing to you...
