Get In The
Birth Position

Many
of you are about to birth the gifts that have been deposited in you by the Holy
Spirit. For several of you these gifts have been lying dormant inside of you
for many years and it is now time to get in the birth position to receive what
the Lord has for you.
In
the natural when a woman is in labor the pain intensifies right before the
birth. She then has to get in position and push to bring forth the baby. Using
that as an analogy when you are getting ready to birth something spiritually it
may be difficult but you must push through some things and make sure that you
are in position to receive the gifts and callings of the Holy Spirit. On the
other hand, there are some of you that are overdue and therefore you need to
have induced labor. Getting into position is not getting into a religious
ritual but it is being prepared for your purpose in a relationship and
friendship with Jesus in which your perseverance can not be compromised.
John 3: 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and
that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Don't Retreat
The
reason why many of you are not seeing the gifts and promises of God in your
life is because you were not able to stand the severity of the trials that have
come against you. When adverse
situations comes against you, that is the time to press through rather than
retreat.
When
you are trying to get in alignment with Gods plans the enemy will bring
torrents of adversity but you have to learn how to break through. There were so
many men and women of God with significant gifting and callings that went
through difficulties before birthing Gods promises and calls on their lives.
Joseph was thrown into a ditch and then thrown into prison, Daniel was thrown
into the lion's den, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was thrown into the fiery
furnace, Paul, Silas, Peter and James were thrown into prison. People tried to
annihilate them because of the calling on their lives. The final outcome was
that they all fulfilled Gods perfect will because they stayed steadfast through
tribulation. They all knew that they needed to follow the plan and purpose of
God and not one of them retreated or retaliated. They even tried to throw Jesus
off a cliff as well as tried to kill him several other times so that He can not
fulfill the scriptures.
(We
understand that in the end Jesus gave His life willingly for us, He was not
killed. This was according to Gods plan and we also know that Jesus rose from
the dead, walked out of that grave and is alive and well because He is God)
In
the same way, the powers of darkness are trying to keep you from birthing the
gifts that Jesus has freely given to you. It is important that you recognize
this and press through any difficulties that are coming against you. I want to
encourage you today to stay steadfast and focused because Jesus has great plans
for every one of you as you submit your lives to His will.
John 16: 21 A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow
because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she
no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into
the world.
