Bob Jones seems to walk with the Lord both day and night, and the supernatural is an everyday occurrence to Bob. As Bob begins to minister prophetically to an individual the Lord moves through Bob, touching on their past wounds, present circumstances, and future dreams that they may be made whole. "I just tell them what the Lord reveals to me," Bob says.
Bob was born in Gravely, Ark., the son of a sharecropper. One summer day when Bob was nine years old, he was walking down a dust road when an angel appeared to him. The angel told Bob that he had come to announce the calling the Lord had placed on his life. Bob was paralyzed. "I'd heard preached in the Baptist church that when the angel came, he'd blow his horn and time would be no more. I thought the time of the end had come, " Bob said.
When Bob was 13 years old, the Lord reaffirmed the calling. This time Bob was walking past a cane field when the Lord called his name out loud. "I heard my name called from the cane field and it terrorized me because I knew it was the Lord," he said.
When he was 15, the Lord supernaturally visited him and showed him the ministry he would have someday. Bob knew he was seeing the real thing. He saw the fear of the Lord. It was so terrorizing that everything within him shook. "He wasn't the God I had learned about in church where you could stand before Him and have sin in your life," Bob said. "At first I thought He was calling me to death through this experience; I didn't want to die yet!"
Cindy Jacobs is a respected prophet who travels the world ministering not only to crowds of people, but to heads of nations. Perhaps her greatest ministry is to world influencers who seek her prophetic advice.
Her first calling is and always will beprophetic intercession. Ever since the Lord called her with the scripture, "Ask of me the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the world for your possession," she has taken that calling seriously. She describes her call to the nations "an inverted homesickness." Each year she travels and has spokenon nearlyevery inhabited continent to tens of thousands. Yet, in her heart is the memory that Jesus left the ninety-and-nine to go to the one. Today, in spite of a demanding schedule, she is willing to go for the one lost soul.
The ministry, now known as Generals International, was founded as Generals of Intercession. Intercession is still a major thrust of the ministry as they have "generals" around the world who are starting prayer networks in regions such as Central Asia and Turkey.
God has blessed Cindy with many times of being honored for her influence. She has two doctorates. One is her Doctor of Divinityfrom Christian International in Santa Rosa Beach, FL., and the other from the Asian Theological Association for her work with unreached peoples.
Among other things, she is listed in the Who's Who Among American Women, has written for such publications as Charisma, Ministries Today, and Spirit-Led Women. She is a frequent guest on Trinity Broadcasting Network, The 700 Club, and now one can watch her on the God Channel. The television show from her ministry, God Knows, is on nine networks in six languages.
Cindy has authored six books, Possessing the Gates of the Enemy, The Voice of God, Women of Destiny, Deliver Us from Evil, The Supernatural Life, and her newest, The Reformation Manifestowhich has been released in February of 2008.
Cindy loves to travel and speak, but one of her favorite past-times is spending time with her husband Mike and their childrenDaniel andMary Madison along withherthree adorable grandsons, Malachi, Caden, and Zion.
