I want to speak briefly about second heaven this week. The following is part of the book I have written entitled "Stewarding Second Heaven to Enter the Revelatory Realm". Without an understanding of earth realm, second heaven, and the revelatory realm of heaven, we will never reach our potential. What is the difference or how do we differentiate the second and the third heaven so we know what is truly a mystery being revealed and what we should be stewarding?
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Definitions
High places: 2032 ¥?ðïõñÜíéïò [epouranios /ep·oo·ran·ee·os/] adj. translates as "heavenly" 16 times, "celestial" twice, "in heaven" once, and "high" once; existing in heaven; things that take place in heaven; the heavenly regions; heaven itself, the abode of God and angels; the lower heavens, of the stars; the heavens, of the clouds; the heavenly temple or sanctuary; of heavenly origin or nature.
The problem is that we do not fully understand the second heaven realm. We believe because we are in the spirit that everything we see in the spirit is from God. NO! Being in the spirit means you are in that second heaven or spiritual realm. Second heaven is where the spiritual domain over the earth occurs. It is where the enemy can show forth evil and false revelation as well. Today everyone desires to have access into this supernatural realm. Where are all the new age practices and false religions coming from? Not the earth realm and certainly not from Heaven. They are being birthed out of the second heaven realm. The place we are to be stewarding. If you would study most new age practices, you will find they only teach the highest level to attain is what we would call second heaven or the spiritual realm. This puts an empowerment into the demonic forces in that realm and stops the pursuit of a higher level, the revelatory realm. This empowers the soul to perform and bring messages that have no impact. They realize they cannot enter the revelatory realm of God through what they practice.
Ever since the devil was defeated, he is only in second heaven sending his demonic forces to the earth. Second heaven is a mixture of God and Satan. There are voices masquerading as the Holy Spirit. Demons posing as angels of light. There are illusions and imaginations, false revelations and delusions. There is even false prophecy as well. These all create false prophets and leaders of authority, measures of truth but not in fullness. You see false ministry has no standard because the standard set in the spirit realm or the place as I call it, of spiritual "woo". Because of this, we have many saying they saw something "in the spirit" and they prophesy it or speak it and it has no impact. It probably was not from God but had demonic influence behind it. The false prophets, apostles and other leaders do not just appear, but were birthed in the church walls as we endorse the illusions and imaginations they have experienced, because we do not know they are doctrinally incorrect.
I have seen this time and time again. Many pastors deal with this as people try to step out in the gifts and see or experience things in the spirit. This has caused pastors to be reluctant or apprehensive about prophetic type events. This is where most of the "weirdness" that is in the full gospel circles comes from. They say things and have no way to substantiate it doctrinally. This should be the first red flag that someone can enter that realm, but has not yet discerned correctly. The fruit of these types of second heaven experiences can produce confusion in the Body. God's standard is set in the third heaven. The standard in heaven is the standard we are to attain. What is addressed in heaven is what we need to address here.
