What caused this girl to be filled with so much darkness?
She obviously wanted to die. She tried
to die. How many times did she cut her
arms and wrists? How many suicide
letters were written? She was in a
living hell.
"That young, desperate, lost, and lonely girl was really me.
I almost ended my life before it really even began. Yes, I was a different
person. I had not yet met the man that would save my life… my Savior, Jesus.

About the Author
Melissa Calegan dealt with depression and suicidal thoughts
for many years. Almost dying at her own hand at the age of 14, she was lost,
lonely, and desperate. She had no idea of the plans that God had for her life
until she met her Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, she is very happy and feels
blessed to have such a wonderful husband and two fantastic boys. She is a
member of White Dove
Fellowship International
Outreach Center
in New Orleans, LA under the teachings and leadership of
Pastors Mike and Elaine Millé. She is also honored to be a licensed member of
the Great Commission Fellowship.
