I'm glad you opened this message but to be honest, no matter how hard we try not to, we will have moments when we stumble and fall short. What really matters is how we respond to it. When we lose our temper, succumb to temptation, or miss the mark… these moments, no matter how big or small, can build up and weigh on our hearts, and cause us to feel far away from our heavenly Shepherd and unloved.

I’m glad you opened this message but to be honest, no matter how hard we try not to, we will have moments when we stumble and fall short.
What really matters is how we respond to it.
When we lose our temper, succumb to temptation, or miss the mark… these moments, no matter how big or small, can build up and weigh on our hearts, and cause us to feel far away from our heavenly Shepherd and unloved.
And sometimes, it even makes us wonder…
- "Will God still listen to my prayers?"
- "I know the Lord forgives me but is He upset with me?"
- "Did that bad thing happen because I messed up?"
Perhaps you’ve had these thoughts for a while, or maybe you find yourself slowly losing sight of God’s heart for you, taking things into your own hands, and trusting in your own effort instead of His love for you…
Friend, look at this powerful statement that the Lord made in the new covenant: "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more" (Heb. 8:12). This means that no matter what mess you find yourself in, the fact always remains that ALL your mistakes and sins—past, present, and future—have been forgiven at the cross!
And that's why, Beloved, even after you’ve made a mistake...
- The Lord will still embrace you with His mercy, love, and comfort.
- He can still work all things out for your good.
- His heart is still to bless you with many beautiful days of heaven on earth.
Let me be clear: This does not give us a license to sin. It’s quite the opposite (Rom. 6:14)! When we truly understand and lean on God’s grace, that’s when the real change happens. It ignites in our hearts a love and desire for the things of the Lord, transforms us from the inside out, and empowers us to overcome our sins and failures. It leads us to step into the abundant life He has for us—a life that honors Him (Rom. 6:17–18)!
I get it. Believing that you’re still righteous in Christ, especially right after you’ve messed up, can be the furthest thing on your mind. But that’s where faith comes in. You’re not trusting in your own performance but in the finished work of Jesus!

To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:6–7 Today's scripture reading, Ephesians 1:6–7, tells us that we are accepted in Christ, the Beloved. And because we are in Christ, we are well pleasing to God! But Pastor Prince, I have done nothing to make myself well pleasing to God!

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son. (Romans 8:3) I love today's Scripture. The answer, my friend, is found not in the law, but in the Son. The law was given by a servant, Moses; grace came through the Son, Jesus. The grace revolution begins with a person and His name is Jesus. When you have Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and a revelation of His grace, you have everything. You have, most importantly, a new and righteous identity in Christ.

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27 Beloved, the more you grow in your revelation and valuation of how Jesus' finished work has placed you in Him—in the secret place where you are safe, protected, and secure—the more you'll find your heart at rest instead of filled with worry and fears.
