The Lord is extending an invitation to the body of Christ to rise up and experience a profound season of revelation, and deeper intimacy with Him. He is calling us to move beyond the status quo of mediocre Christianity and embrace all that He has for us. While every believer can access daily revelation and be led by the Holy Spirit, some may have a struggle to receive it for themselves. There is an open door to come up higher in Him.
One day while driving on a very windy day, I saw a bunch of helium balloons in various sizes, shapes and dazzling colors floating high up in the sky. I assumed that they had gotten loose or were released from a party or celebration. As I watched them ascend in the air, carried by the winds, the Lord gave me this word. For those of you who have ears to hear, He is inviting you to come up higher. Just as the helium balloons rise up and flow in the direction of the wind, you could be led by the wind of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit wants to elevate you to new levels of knowing Him and raise you to new levels of His glory. Just as the balloons came in various colors, sizes and shapes, He will reveal Himself in a unique way, tailored for each individual. He will speak in your own language, your own style, in a way only you will understand.
He wants to bring you into new levels of intercession. Your prayers will be set forth as incense reaching the throne of God. They will be a sweet-smelling fragrance pleasing to Him. The lifting of your hands as an evening sacrifice, dying to yourselves and surrendering your life to Him. Dying to the flesh and being raised up with Him. Presenting your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service.
We need to realize that we are not of this world but as Holy Spirit filled believers, we are supernatural beings living in a physical body. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead resides inside of us. Communicating with Jesus is not mind control but simply being led by the Holy Spirit. It is submitting the father’s voice and knowing who you are in Him. You can’t view the surrounding countryside when you are down in valley. The valley offers a restricted view.
You can’t see the river of life when you are in the wilderness. The only way you could see through the eyes of the Lord is when you are on the mountaintop. In the same way, you need to come up higher to see things from Gods perspective. When you are in a higher place with the Lord you gain a panoramic view of the world. Seeing things from the father’s view changes everything, and you’ll no longer judge things in the same way.
So come up here says the Lord and let me show you things you know not of. You will then discern My voice with greater clarity and learn to distinguish My gentle whisper from the clamor of the world. As you draw close, the veil will be lifted from your faces, and you will become radiant as a mirror reflecting My glory, transformed into My image, and you will go from glory to glory, says the Spirit of God.
John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
Revelation 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
