The Kingdom Call to Rise by Randy Gladden

By Randy Gladden
We live in a time of global shaking. What once felt secure is now cracking beneath our feet. The middle class—long seen as the backbone of economic stability—is being stretched to its limits. Wages are stagnant. Inflation has risen. Investments are volatile. And the old formulas for success no longer hold. For many, the dream is slipping away, and it feels like the floor is falling out. Some commentators have sounded the alarm: "The middle class is becoming the new poor." And it's not just a dramatic soundbite. It's the lived reality for many.

Seeing Through the Shaking

Some commentators have sounded the alarm: “The middle class is becoming the new poor.” And it’s not just a dramatic soundbite. It’s the lived reality for many. College degrees no longer guarantee stable careers. Retirement accounts are being eroded. Homeownership has become an unreachable goal for many. Life as we knew it is being shaken.

And yet the words of Hebrews 12:27 ring clear: “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.”

God is not merely exposing weakness; He is revealing where true strength lies. He is shaking the systems of this world to awaken His people to a higher reality: the unshakable nature of His Kingdom.

The Collapse of Old Paradigms—And the Need for Kingdom Strategy

For decades, the path to success seemed clear: go to school, get a job, save for retirement, and live comfortably. But these models were built on sand, not rock—and now we are witnessing the expiration of outdated strategies.

Many are still clinging to failing methods—traditional retirement plans, debt-fueled portfolios, and assets that offer artificial security—unaware that the ground has already shifted beneath them. Yet few are seeking clarity or Spirit-led innovation.

God Offers a Distinction

In Egypt, God displayed His power through signs and wonders that shook the very heart of the nation. But in the midst of the shaking, He made a declaration:

“I will make a distinction between My people and your people.” (Exodus 8:23)

While Egypt endured darkness, disease, and devastation, God’s people were preserved. Over and over, God made it clear: His people are marked. Set apart. Distinguished.

That same distinction is available today. While the systems of the world are crumbling, God is calling His people to rise—not just to survive, but to stand out as leaders, as voices of hope, and as vessels of divine strategy in a time of uncertainty.

The same distinction is available today – but it must be received.

The Distinction Isn’t Automatic

But hear this clearly: the distinction is not automatic.

God’s promises are available, but they are not passive. They must be claimed, activated, and walked out by faith. God’s promises are universal, but the application is always personal.

The distinction God offers in this hour must be claimed by bold faith and expectation.
The distinction is accessed by those who:

  • Believe boldly what God has said – despite the narratives.
  • Seek direction where none seems obvious
  • Expect supernaturally – especially when others are panicking.
Don’t wait for God to make a move – He’s waiting for you to respond.

The distinction is a covenant invitation. But the rising? That’s your move.

A Call to Rise

This is more than a season of endurance—it’s a defining moment to rise.

But tragically, many will miss it.

Many are distracted by what they see and disheartened by what they feel. The noise of fear, the weight of headlines, and the pull of the familiar keep them from stepping into the opportunity right in front of them. They interpret the shaking as something to endure, not something to engage. And in doing so, they miss the divine call to rise.

But to those who are listening—those willing to step out of comfort, away from outdated systems, and into Spirit-led obedience—God is issuing a call:

  • To see beyond the crisis.
  • To listen beyond the noise.
  • To prosper and overflow for every good work.
  • To lead beyond the limits of natural thinking.
The shaking is real—but so is the distinction. And those who rise in this hour will carry divine strategy, uncommon favor, and access to provision that sets them apart for Kingdom impact.

Embrace your call to rise. Take your position for such a time as this.
