God is Moving Quickly to Fulfill His Word by Tiffany Watkins

By Tiffany Watkins
Does it seem that achieving the results you desire is often a long and difficult process?  Have you ever been puzzled as to why your prayers are not answered or why God does not seem to be moving? How can one ensure that their prayers are answered more quickly? Is there a process one should follow? As long as the plan is in accordance with God's will and his word, I believe that God will expeditiously fulfill what he has said.  His timing is always expeditious.

When you study God's word, cultivate an atmosphere for His presence, and devote yourself to Him, the Lord's word is always fresh and present with you. The key is to recognize it and understand where it comes from.  If God has spoken a true word to you, you can rest assured that he will fulfill it expeditiously.

Jeremiah 1:12 says, "Then said the Lord unto me, ‘Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.’" Here, God confirms to the young prophet Jeremiah that he correctly discerned the almond tree vision in the previous verses and that every word God speaks will come true and he will perform it quickly. God watches over His word and personally ensures that what He says will come to pass.

This is good news for us. Why? God's word must be fulfilled, so we need to meditate on it, devote our time to it, and confess it. God will move quickly to fulfill His word when we do both. God is actively overseeing the fulfillment of His word. It is for this reason that we should not rely on our emotions, our ideas, or our selfish desires because we may or may not be able to obtain what we desire without God's word working in partnership with us.  Partnering with God's word means actively aligning our life, decisions, and faith with what God has spoken in Scripture.

As we partner with God in this season of our lives, we need to make sure to do it with the word of God in our heart, mind, and spirit. Let His word flood your very being so that you can experience and exemplify His authority, love, power, and His heart on the earth. In this season we will be flooded with the fulfilment of God's word on earth in His divine timing which is always expeditious.
