Yesterday I received an awesome prophetic word while watching a live stream video on Facebook from a prophet named Dontrell, who is a credible and anointed prophet of God. My friend Gerri sent me the link to the video which was already three hours in. He and another prophet, named James, were ministering the whole time, teaching and prophesying to the viewers. At around the three-and-a-half-hour mark, he called my name and prophesied to me.
He said that he sees two books coming out of me in this season and repeated twice that the Lord is putting a demand on my writing in this season. He said: “I see it so strongly”, the Lord said that you are a Seer and He’s showing you some things and now is the time to put the book out. I don’t know if you have books out already, but He's put a demand on two particular books in this season.”
This has been prophesied over me many times by renowned prophets or prophetically gifted people who I’ve never even met, and I actually asked the Lord again about writing a book the day before I received this word. Some of you think when you see someone writing prophetically that they have angels with harps flying around them. But the truth is that there is a lot of warfare and fiery darts flying. The demons get stirred up and try to shut it down. You then have to get caught up in the anointing to begin writing till the Holy Spirit’s presence comes upon you and the Shekinah glory fills the room.
The Lord wanted me to share this testimony because there are many of you who have received a promise, a prophetic word or a vision for your lives. It may be a ministry, a family, a career, project or also a book. You may be called to the Five-fold Ministry or a Healing Ministry. Some of you had situations in your life, which made your God given vision seem as if it was a figment of your imagination. What you don’t realize is that the vision was for an appointed time.
The Lord is calling you back to pursue the vision you once had. God’s gifts and calling are irrevocable, and everything that He ordained for you to do shall come to pass. Just as a pregnant woman doesn't see the baby immediately after she conceives but goes through a nine-month process and goes through labor before giving birth, the vision has a due date, and it is for an appointed time.
Don’t let adverse circumstances discourage you which seem to cancel your promise. Continue to nurture and protect the vision that has been planted inside you. Recognize the process of development, knowing that you will give birth to that vision in due season. There are seasons for planting and seasons for reaping. There's an appointed time for everything to come into fruition.
Don’t let discouragement to overwhelm you or lead you in the wrong direction. The assignments from the enemy are meant to divert your attention off your purpose, but as you pursue your vision and the dream that Jesus has placed in your heart, your perseverance will propel you into your destiny.
The misfortunes of the past that were meant to destroy you will only strengthen you if you stay on course. Write the Vision and reestablish it in your life again. It will certainly come at the appointed time. The Lord is saying to you today; “Trust Me, and though the vision tarries, wait on it, for it will surely come to pass.”
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 “I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. Then The LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
