The Procession of the Faithful by Faith Marie Baczko

The people of God were never meant to be a people of stagnation, but a people of movement. Stagnation breeds decay. When the Holy Spirit shows up, we call it a move of the Spirit. God is ever at work, drawing His people into His movements, into His procession. He is a King and whenever He moves there is a Procession. Every procession has order, protocol, and qualification. All are invited, but not all may enter. Those who seek to usurp the King's glory cannot remain.

Those who seek to usurp the King’s glory cannot remain. Perjurers and liars cannot ride with the King. The proud and arrogant cannot walk in His company. The sexually perverse cannot enter His holy procession toward the Throne.

Some will protest and say, What about the Cross? What about the Blood? What about grace? They do not understand that the Blood and the grace of God were given as free gifts—an invitation into a realm of holiness we could never enter on our own. Grace does not abolish holiness; it empowers a believer’s transformation. Grace gives time and opportunity to graciously agree to obedience and submission to conformity to the image of the King.

Those who bear His image and stature ride with Him in His procession—those who refuse to bow to the world or to the lust of the flesh, choosing instead to bow only to God. Grace and the protection of the Blood provide time for submission to the process. There is abundant grace for those whose hearts are turned toward God, whose desire is purity before Him. God is gracious, patient, and longsuffering—but every child must grow into maturity.

There are those who will refuse. These are ones to whom God will say I have given you time to repent, but you would not. Such ones are handed over, even as His intercession remains. Refusal is not ignorance—it is willful resistance. Paul said give them over to the enemy, and Jesus said in the time of refinement He will pray.

“…deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 5:5

“And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” Luke 22:31

Carrying the Fragrance of Christ

The Procession of the King belongs to saints who have yielded themselves fully to be conformed, no matter the cost. To them, the King is everything. They will never touch His Glory nor attempt to lay claim to His Bride. Idols are left behind on the wayside of humiliation and brokenness.

These are ones who carry the fragrance of Christ wherever they go. They reflect Him, release Him, and make Him known. The immature view the Cross merely as an escape from judgment, remaining entrenched in orphanhood—wallowing with the pigs like the prodigal. They have not yet beheld the King hanging on the Cross not only for their salvation, but for their transformation into sons of God.

The world and much of the Church have become event-focused, moving from gathering to gathering. But God’s procession moves from glory to glory, from faith to transformative faith, from strength to strength embedded with grit. It’s a Procession moving in majesty, clothed in the might, wisdom, and power of Yahweh. It advances held securely in the fear of Elohim, moving in tandem with the Angel Armies of Heaven.

As I was reading Isaiah describing the train of His robe filling the Temple, I suddenly saw myself as His Temple and the train of His robe filling me. I immediately protested! I told the Lord that this could not be me as I struggled with sinful attitudes where I kept falling, I did not feel worthy or pure.

Immediately, the Lord answered clearly and said: Your heart is pure toward Me! In your struggles, you always choose obedience.

That is Grace.

The wonder of it.

Definitely not cheap.

The cost is the Cross.

Grace keeps a person humble, not proud — broken by human deficiencies and imperfections… yet forgiven. Aware of weaknesses, yet dependent on mercy… always.

God can work with obedience. He can work with a sinner who chooses surrender. He can work with hearts that that feel unqualified yet desire to serve Him and be like Him. The struggle with sin of those yielded to Him are brought under the power of the Blood, extinguished forever from His Presence. To love Him is to hate evil. To love Him is to obey. Obedience is evidence of love, the sign to Heaven and to angels that He is LORD.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” John 14:23

The obedient live under the care and providence of God. They are forever bound in the bundle of Elohim.

“Should anyone rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, then the life of my lord will be bound in the [precious] bundle of the living with the LORD your God; but the lives of your enemies—those He will hurl out as from the center of a sling.” 1 Samuel 25:29

Leah, after striving for the affection of her husband through the birth of three sons, finally gave up and declared, “This time I will praise the LORD.” She named her son Judah—Praise—the tribe through whom Messiah entered the world. Judah represents a people who live to please Him alone. They are the tribe of kings, who receive the inheritance of the Firstborn blessing, participants in the order of the firstborn sons of God. They stand with Him, sing songs the world cannot learn, and dwell forever in His Presence, in union with Him in the bundle of Elohim.

Issues that Hinder Destiny

Fear of the Lord, obedience, character and maturity comes from humility birthed from deep brokenness. Revelation and prophecy mean nothing unless they take form. Within true revelation lies the potential for manifestation and formation. Prophecy—personal or corporate—must be agreed with, embraced, and brought to birth. If prophecy is given, so are the blueprints and the strategy to see it manifested.

Fear attempts to restrain obedience, while immaturity and misaligned character delay fulfillment. Much has been given that waits to be released on Earth—hindered by fear and hearts not yet aligned with the God of Creation.

The world is waiting for Heaven’s supernatural initiatives to come forth and for the sons of God to appear standing in the Glory of Messiah alongside Him. His Procession is moving…

Stop singing the same song you have sung for years—what, when, how, who.

The answer is now.

The answer is you.

Go and do.

Build the Container for My Glory

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” 1John 3:1-2
